I am relieved to say I have passed the PgMP exam and earned this certification. It’s been a long year’s effort. I thought PMP was not easy but it took a month of dedicated studying vs a whole year. Also I did not use any test prep service for PMP. PgMP is quite different. PgMP is definitely the most arduous multiple choice exam I’ve ever sat for. Most questions have numerous correct choices. The normal techniques of eliminating incorrect choices does not apply to this exam. One must both memorize a large chunk of material (and read PMI SPM numerous times) but also understand what is learned in order to answer the many scenario-based questions. I used many study materials from Procifics and their guidance was invaluable in getting my application approved on first attempt. In addition to all of the studying I just mentioned, one must take many practice tests to prepare for PgMP and Procifics is the gold standard for PgMP study tests and guidance. Just wanted to say that and I would be willing to share my PgMP experience and methods for any interested party.
